  • Credit facility between IDB Invest – arm of the Inter-American Development Bank – and Banco ABC Brasil
  • US$130 million through an A/B Loan, with two- and four-year maturities
  • Use of proceeds directed to investments aimed at mitigating climate change and to support companies in the middle segment

2014

  • Credit facility between IDB Invest – arm of the Inter-American Development Bank – through the Trade Finance Facilitation Program – TFFP, and Banco ABC Brasil
  • Term of up to one year and renewable at each maturity. Started with US$50 million in 2014 and by early 2021 already reaches US$200 million
  • Use of proceeds directed to promote foreign trade between Brazil and other IDB member countries in a sustainable way
  • In 2020, the IDB’s TFFP (Trade Finance) program completed 15 years and Banco ABC Brasil was elected the winner of the TFFP 15th Anniversary Awards in the category of largest bank by volume for the Southern Cone region. This award, according to the IDB, recognizes the tireless work of ABC Brasil during all these years and its commitment on building a network of relationships that boost foreign trade in the country and generate sustainable development for the region
