Our commitment to Human Rights and Social Responsibility
In order to align Social Responsibility with its institutional purpose, ABC Brasil has defined the theme of Education for Income Generation as its institutional cause, with the main fronts for action being the development of education for employability, professional training and entrepreneurship for income generation.
As such, it is aligned with the institutional purpose and the following UN Sustainable Development Goals:
From this perspective, it is involved in Private and Incentivized Social Investment, Volunteering and Diversity & Inclusion, with high standards of conduct, building a relationship of trust and respect with its main stakeholders.
Internally, it seeks to promote and contribute to a fairer society through corporate volunteering actions, investments and directing resources via incentive laws towards education for employability, income generation and entrepreneurship, as well as social and cultural projects. Also a supporter of the Programa Empresa Cidadã, ABC Brasil also extends maternity leave by sixty days and paternity leave by fifteen days, in addition to the five already established.
ABC Solidário
ABC Brasil believes that creating shared value is a fundamental pillar. Through our volunteer program, ABC Solidário, we seek to inspire and mobilize our leaders and employees to transform lives. Our commitment to projects and initiatives goes beyond the allocation of financial resources and fundraising campaigns, encompassing human and material resources and the provision of services, thereby generating a positive impact on the communities in which we are involved.
Private Social Investmenty
ABC Brasil support initiatives aimed at promoting employability education, income generation and entrepreneurship. Among the initiatives we support are:
- École 42: Global educational institution that provides free, immersive software engineering training in more than 30 countries.
- Instituto da Oportunidade Social (IOS): CEBAS-certified charity that promotes professional training in the areas of administration and technology for young people aged 15 to 29 and people with disabilities aged 16 and over, who have graduated from or are currently attending secondary school in the public school system.
